Friday Lovin' | June 5

We are back with a new name for these amazeballs products and things each Friday.

Lets start with something I am not a fan of, just to get it out of the way - cauterizing. Yup, the smell of burning flesh makes me want to vomit. It is a necessary evil sometimes but I could have done without it at 8 a.m. today. I'm sure you all could have too. Oh well, we are real life here and real life is a wart was taking over my thumb and that had to stop.

Onward to the pleasant things!

3 | Bourbon and Boweties

Oh my goodness, these are gorgeous. I saw one of our vendor reps wear them at a meeting recently and I was obsessed at first sight. Then I saw them at a local boutique. This may be a problem.

Friday's Favorites | May 8

Oh hey Friday!!! Another work week bites the dust. The weather was warm and this week flew by. I am loving the beginning of this spring/summer time frame. Now if only I could get some sherbet life would be grand. Anyway, here are the favorites this week!

Michael Todd Toner

This stuff has been great. When I decided to switch out my face care products to simple and less chemical heavy items, I snagged this guy up quick. It is a toner that I have seen a difference from already. My breakouts have been less red and are not as raised as they were. #winning

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish

I have written a post about this polish before (here), but I hadn't used it in a while now. This week I brought it out of retirement and now I want to go buy more shades. I don't know why I haven't been using this formula more. It is quick drying and lasts the perfect amount of time (just over a week for me).

Smooth Legs

With warmer weather making its appearance, so are my legs. That means it is time to show them a little extra love and really keep them smooth. I have found my perfect combination with this EOS shave cream and the Schick Hydro Silk Trim Style. I can shave either wet or dry legs and the end result is silky smoothness that is perfect for summer.

Grit and Grace

I have shared my love for She Reads Truth in the past, but they are not the only Godly, inspirational group of women that have been following. Lately I started following along with Grit and Grace.

Friday's Favorites | May 1

Oh my goodness where is time going? It is already May! Hopefully the weather starts getting even warmer so we can all enjoy being outside sometime soon. May for me means the start of a very busy time of year. There are bachelorette parties, bridal showers, vacations, and weddings all planned in the next three months and I am actually thrilled to be so busy. I'm sure the next three months will bring a lot of new favorites, but for now here are my favorites from this week!

Derby Days

Hooray, it is Derby weekend. Eventually I will actually make it there, but until then I will take dressing the part and hanging out with friends at Derby parties here. This year is the 3rd Annual Trentucky Derby and I can't wait to see everyone's faces (it has been almost a month since I have seen some of them).

Hope in a Jar Foundation

As I try and get my skin under control, I am trying out new foundations and this one feels great on my skin. It is super hydrating and gives build-able coverage. On days that I use my Tanning Water this foundation is perfect to give me a bit of moisture without having to use a heavy lotion on top of the water.

This Techinique

After watching this video I decided to try out her technique for applying sunless tanner on my face/wrists/feet. I gotta say I loved it. My face felt so much more even doing it this way. Winner! I used my Buffing Brush from this kit to do it.

Eye Products

While these aren't technically favorites yet, I have been sent the following products to try out and I am really excited. I really want to find a drugstore eyeliner and mascara that works for me so fingers crossed these are it!

Friday's Favorites | April 24

Oh hey there people. It is Friday, finally! I don't know about you but I am pumped for the weekend. Did anyone else take part in TGIT on ABC last night? If you did, did you sink into a Thursday night depression like I did? Yup, I cried like a baby. Grey's will not be on my favorites list this week because I am still too sad. Here are the things that did make it though.

Lemons in my Water

There are a crazy amount of benefits to drinking lemon water in the morning, but honestly it just tastes better. I have been doing this all week and it starts my mornings off bright and fresh.

I would be lying if I didn't say that I am obsessed. So obsessed that I caught up to the current episode in a week of binge watching the series. Whoops.

Nate brought me some after work one day this week and I am in heaven. I don't know why I love these so much more, but they are my favorite.

And that is it. I swear one of these days I will get back in the groove and post more than three times a week. After sitting at home on the computer for work all day, it is just hard to sit behind the computer again. I'm in a funk, I need help.

Friday's Favorites | April 17

Hey everyone, sorry I have been a bit absent this week. It has been a crazy one, but I swear I will be back at it full force next week. Until then, here are my favorites from this whirlwind of a first week in our new home!

Our New Home

It seems only right to start off my favorites with this one. I love our new house and we have made some serious progress this week. You can check out our moving weekend recap here, and next week I plan on doing a walk-thru post before anything got moved in.

I have said it once before, Amanda's stuff is amazing, and her custom work is perfect. I asked her for something with a rose to link back to Raindrops on Roses and she made me the above bracelet (c/o). Perfect isn't it!? I love it so much and I cannot stop wearing it!
