One more week

Oh my goodness, it is almost Christmas! I really can't wait. One more week of travel for work then it is Christmas and I get to travel home to see my family. All this travel has really taken its toll on me and I am exhausted. That being said this weekend was pretty low key, well as low key as I could make it.

Friday night was girls night, and it was filled with pedicures and wine (maybe some pizza too). It really was much needed. I am so thankful for the girls I have in my life, both near and far. They are such a great support system.

Saturday morning was a no alarm kind of morning. The only thing that woke me up was Nate bringing me breakfast (yum bacon!). Later on I worked on blog things and wrapped presents, finally. They aren't done yet (I still need to make bows and gift tags), but at least there is something under the tree now.

I really enjoyed the day home with my boys. That night I made Chicken Pot Pie in the crock pot (easy and scrumptious) and we went out to celebrate a friend's birthday. Home by 9:30 and in bed by 10:30. We are so old!

Sunday was again a no alarm day, and I took full advantage of it. I was really starting to feel my body saying sleep or you will get sick so I listened. By that afternoon I was at the Coliseum for a hockey game and the rest of the night was spent on Blog stuff.

Man wasn't that exciting...Life as I know it is so different than this time last year!

Here are a couple of things to be looking out for this week:
Makeup tutorial/review
Curling Iron review/tutorial
and More Christmas fun.

Make sure to check back throughout the week to stay caught up. Happy Monday everyone!
