Sisters of the Wine and Blue

My pledge class on our last Bid Day circa 2012

Today marks 147 years that my amazing sorority has been in existence. April 28, 1867 was the day that set the tone for me and my fellow sisters of the wine and blue. A group of young women at Monmouth College in Monmouth, Illinois decided they wanted to form an organization like that of men's fraternities. Because of these women, I had the opportunity to experience some amazing things during college.

I am a proud member of the Indiana Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. Not only did I gain amazing friends that will be with me for my life, but I had amazing opportunities throughout my college years. Even now as an alumnae of Pi Phi I have the opportunity to be involved and help the next group of young angels make their mark on the world through acts of leadership and service. Sisterhood, service, leadership and integrity are the base of my amazing sorority and I could not be more proud of the group that I will forever belong to.

We are sisters of the wine and blue, and friends forever true. Happy 147 years Pi Phi. Here is to another 147.
