Friday's Favorites | October 3

It is Friday, which means my favorites of the week! I am really loving these things and they are all brand new in my life as of this week (except the alligator clips) so it is a list full of great first impressions.

Keep

This is my new favorite place to hoard my wishlist and keep track of what I am wanting and need to shop for. I still love Rack It Up because of the options your have with the notifications, but they are not linked to every site so it doesn't always work and I can't organize like I can on Keep. If you remember I used to use Luvocracy to keep these lists organized, but that site has basically shut down from what I can tell (or Wal*Mart bought it out and ruined it). It is similar to Pinterest in the fact that you can create lists/boards, but everything is immediately shop-able which is fantastic! Like Rack It Up you also can set up price alerts on Keep as well - score!

According to their website, "Keep is the place to go when you want to discover and buy the latest trends in fashion, decor, accessories, and design. Keep's community of tastemakers unite the best products from across the Internet into a beautiful showcase of trending, unique and frankly, fabulous finds."

You should probably join, like now (join here)!

I am loving gold things for my house as this list clearly shows.

BuzzFeed Lists

I don't know about you but I think BuzzFeed lists are super funny. Here are my favorite ones I saw this week:
#16 is especially true, this week it was 81 on Thursday and the forecast is saying it will be 48 on Saturday!
#11 is my life even when I am not headed to the gym - Nate hates it...
I lost it reading #36.

PSSSSSST! Instant Dry Shampoo Spray
I got it from Ulta (here)

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Batiste dry shampoo, but this guy has been a magic worker. I read somewhere that putting a little dry shampoo in your hair at night where you get the greasiest helps a lot, so I figured it couldn't hurt to try. I didn't want to try with my Batiste though because it is a dark brown and I did not want that all over my pillow so I went and picked this stuff up (cost me a who $6 I think). Anyway, it worked so well! I didn't need to add any dry shampoo the next morning and my hair looked fabulous. Two good hair days in a row equals a win in my book.

Alligator Clips

Again from Ulta (here)

I started using alligator clips probably two months ago instead of my old hair clips and I will probably not go back, but recently I started wearing one to be. You are probably thinking - "What!? You sleep with a clip in?" Well yes I do, thanks to this article on theskinnyconfidential.com and I love it. I get my hair into a bun on the very top of my head and use the clip to secure it. My hair stays out of my face and doesn't get ripped out. It also doesn't pull my hair like using a hair-tie/elastic would.

This Song!

I really just love this song - that is all I need to say.

What are you loving this week? Have you ever slept in a bedbun?

Thanks for reading and have a great weekend!
