Hey lovelies! As I mentioned in this post yesterday, I am starting to come up with color schemes and plans for the different rooms in our home. I am so excited to start making this place feel more like us and more inviting. It still smells like new home so we have some work to do.
Our living room area is part of the dining and kitchen areas as well so eventually this will all be decorated in a similar color palette. To start with though, the living room (bottom left picture in image above).
Again, like I mentioned yesterday my taste in home decor is slightly different than it was when we did our house in Fort Wayne. For this room I am basing it all off the bloom picture that I found. I love the watercolor look mixed with more industrial looking pieces so that is what we will be going for. Nate is being an amazing handyman husband and making a built in entertainment center that will be white with a grey stained wood top. He is also going to refinish our current coffee and side tables to match! For the accessories I want to pull from the colors of the flower and really make it bright and inviting. A gallery wall will be perfect above our couch and how awesome will bright, white curtains be hanging from that pipe curtain rod?! We plan on painting the whole area a greige color and will probably carry that through most of the rest of the house as well. Lordy I am excited!
