Bumpdate | 37 Weeks

Using one of my "maternity" pictures this week instead!

[How far along]

We are at 37 weeks! Only 3 weeks left (fingers crossed).

[Size of the baby]

Leighton is the size of a leek (approximately 19.1 inches and 6.5 pounds). Since I am full term now, if my labor starts they will just let it happen! Come on baby, we want to meet you!

[Weight Gain]

I am at about 35 pounds ish now. Obviously all the turkey and other food this weekend plays into it a bit, but I feel really good.

I am super swollen in my hands/knuckles. My knuckles actually hurt quite a bit, but I am doing my best to ignore it. I forced my ring on my finger for the pictures we took on Thursday and it took quite a bit of work to get it off. I soak it in ice water for a while, didn't work. Then we tried the whole wrapping a string around your finger thing, didn't work. Eventually we went back to ice and added some soap. With determination I finally got it off, it did not feel too great but I am sure it is better than what it would feel like if it was still stuck there.

I have been starting to feel more contractions and am trying to get in the habit of timing them. He has definitely dropped though and I am feeling the pressure that results from that. Doctor said he is head down so that is a positive!

We are having a little boy! The reveal story is here

Cookies and sour cream and onion dip with chips (not the cookies in the dip though).

Newborn picture list

Still just cleaning/doing laundry. More than anything I am organizing things. This also tends to cause more of a mess than I started with...

I am about to start doing as many squats as possible and eating as much pineapple as I can stand. We are so ready to meet this little guy. Any other suggestions to help my body along? I know we still have just over two weeks so I am not planning on going too crazy, but still. Can't blame a girl.
