These are the Days of Gold

Last Thursday was a girls' night out and what was the main event you ask? Well, let me just tell you - JAKE OWEN. It was a blast. After work my girls and I freshened up and went to pick up Chipotle before heading over to the Coliseum for the concert. He was joined by The Cadillac Three and Parmalee. They all put on such a great show and it really brought out the country girl in me. I may be a Vermont born, Indiana raised girl, but I love me some Southern Charm and these men brought that. Beware, what comes next is multiple, multiple pictures, and they aren't the best quality.

The Cadillac Three were nothing short of perfection and after the show we followed them to one of the country bars in town and heard a few more songs. Parmalee was great as well and did a fun twist on Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" by singing about Fireball. It was perfect. That stuff does hit like a wrecking ball and I literally was laughing out loud.

And then came Jake Owen. He was so amazing to see in concert and to top it off he brought some southern gentlemen ways to a not so gentleman guy who punched a girl in the face. WHO DOES THAT!? Seriously, I don't care if the girl provoked you or touched your girl or whatever, you do not hit a lady.

Anyway, I will spare you all the rant. It was a great time and I suggest that everyone goes out to see Jake if they can. We all need a little country in our life.
