As previously mentioned, I am no longer using a tanning bed to keep my glow in the colder months. Instead I have moved to the world of self tanners and it is finally time to review my first one. For all you girls out there in warmer, southern places I am jealous but maybe you use sunless tanners too. Since it is the first product I have tried, let me know what else is out there!
I found this product thanks to a YouTube video that I can no longer find. I haven't ever tried self tanning mousses before so I didn't have much to go on. Luckily I had a Sally's really close by and I was able to go pick up this Tanwise Dark Bronzing Sunless Mousse and a glove and try it out.
The mousse itself does have a bit of a smell and is generally easy to apply. Before applying it each time I have exfoliated really well and shaved my legs (TMI, oh well). I just followed the directions on the bottle to apply it and I have been generally happy with the results.
After applying it evenly in little circular motions all over, I just kind of hung out until it wasn't sticky anymore. As it dried I was able to check and make sure I didn't have any funny spots that I missed or didn't apply even enough. It does smell like tanner though, which is to be expected from a self tanner obviously.

The color lasted for a little over a week when I left it one for 6 hours before rinsing off. I didn't notice it wearing off in any strange way either so that was great. This is my first self tanning product that I have used though so I don't have much to compare it to.
Has anyone else tried Tanwise? Do you like it? What other products should I be looking into?
