Now back to this Liebster award, which is my first big thing in the blog world. It is basically a chain letter of sorts for bloggers to show love to other bloggers. That being said here are the rules:

That being said, here are 11 facts about me:
1. I was a member of the Indiana Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi.
2. I married my college sweetheart.
3. I was a sweetheart for my husbands fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon, which means I baked a lot.
4. There is probably glitter running through my veins.
5. I love Christmas, but only after Thanksgiving ends.
6. I watch a ridiculous amount of YouTube videos.
7. I have some crazy OCD tendencies sometimes, like our Christmas presents have to be wrapped to match the rest of the decor.
8. I find baking therapeutic, but I rarely eat the treats I bake.
9. Dutch Blitz is one of my favorite card games (betcha don't even know what that is do you?)
10. What is a morning without coffee? I don't know anymore honestly.
11. Reese's are my hands down, favorite candy ever

1. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
I really love the way I feel after blogging. I get this sense of accomplishment and just overall peace knowing that I got my thoughts/ideas out there.
2. What is your favorite thing to cook?
I mean spaghetti wins every single time, and when I have the option I make chicken parm to go with it.
3. What are your holiday essentials?
When it comes time for the holidays, our time is split on opposite sides of the state so (clothing wise) leggings, boots, oversized sweater and scarf; (beauty product wise) primer, a smokey eye and major lashes; and usually some wine to top it off.
4. If you could go anywhere, right now, where would you go?
Greece, I have always wanted to visit.
5. What was/is your favorite subject in school?
In high school, art. In college, any of my graphic design classes (until my senior year, that prof was so mean).
6. What is your favorite holiday memory and/or tradition?
I love just spending time with my family.
7. What are some of your guilty pleasures?
Trash tv (all the Real Housewives, Total Divas and Kardashians to name a few), and Nutella.
8. If you could pick another name for yourself, what would it be?
Oooh, I don't know. I always wanted to be KatiAnne instead of Kati so I did that already.
9. If I handed you a $100 dollar bill, what is the first thing you would buy?

Hmmm, that is a good question that I don't really have an answer for at the moment. I will do some soul searching and figure it out though.

11. Why did you start blogging?
I started this blog as a way to clear my mind, get my thoughts out of my head and conquer my anxiety about what other people think of me. It has worked!

1.How did you decide on the title of your blog?
When I was young I was obsessed with The Sound of Music (who am I kidding I still am). I wanted to focus on the things that make me happy and be able to step back and look at the little things in life that get skipped over in the madness/hustle - the raindrops on roses.
2.What is one word that sums up the heart of your blog and why?
Genuine. I don't leave out the fact that I am not living some lavish lifestyle. I am a twenty-three year old, Midwest living, wife that works full time. It isn't all sunshine and rainbows.
3.What’s your favorite pastime other than blogging?
Honestly, I love watching YouTube makeup reviews/tutorials and designing things.
4.What is your favorite aspect of blogging?

Pay off all my debt, for sure. No hesitation. College loans and mortgages suck!
