Honestly, as soon as we found out we were pregnant, I started to think about how to decorate a nursery. A theme popped up constantly - Neverland - and it has stuck true to today. I never wanted it to be an in your face them with pictures of peter pan everywhere, but I wanted little pieces that connected back to a general grouping of people (fairies/mermaids/Indians for a girl and the lost boys for a boy). Once we found out what we were having, you can see that reveal here, I went full force with a little Lost Boy's/Neverland inspired room. It is finally completely done and ready to share so enjoy the pictures below!

Well happy Monday! It really is a good morning for me because I started doing baby laundry last night and everything smells like baby now. Nate doesn't know what I mean by that, but someone out there does right?
[Friday]
After work, I headed south with 4 of my college friends. We about all ate our arm on our way down because we were so hungry, but we made it in time to hit the Amish buffet and everything was right in the world. After dinner we headed to my grandparents and talked with them and my mom a while before heading to bed.
[Saturday]
I started off bright and early getting ready for the baby shower. Honestly, I could have woken up later and got ready fast but I like taking my time and letting myself get distracted with other things along the way. Anyway, the shower was brunch and my mom and grandma (and great aunts) kicked butt with it. The decorations were adorable and the food was perfect. This little guy is so loved by so many already and I feel so blessed to have such a great support system.

Bumpdate | 30 Weeks
Thursday, October 8, 2015
So I am switching things up a bit for this post because we are about 20 weeks (give or take a few) into this and I am bored with the same things. Plus we have so much going on now that there is other stuff to share that is more fun than there was in the beginning.
Also, I forgot to take a bump pictures before leaving on my trip for work so instead I am sharing some of my inspiration for the "Lost Boys" nursery.

[How far along]
30 Weeks! 71 more days! Our countdown at the house is still in weeks/days, but once we hit 60 I am switching to just days.
[Size of the baby]
Our little guy is approximately 15.7 inches and 3 pounds (app averages for this week of development). That makes him about the size of a large cabbage
[Weight Gain]
Still right around 25 pounds now.
[Symptoms]
Breathing is definitely my biggest issue, that and the uncomfortable feeling in my ribs. Honestly, I am still feeling pretty lucky and am trying to keep doing what I am doing in hopes that things continue like this. I made it to the gym once this week and it felt awesome, other than that I am really focusing on stretching and my posture to help my body out. My dreams are just as crazy as ever too so I am really trying to stay away from anything scary/crime focused to keep the crazy more toward the happy side of the spectrum.
[Gender]
We are having a little boy! The reveal story is here.
[Nursery Update]
All the big stuff is in! Our chair got here yesterday morning and Nate will have it in place by this weekend if he can get it up the stairs. I am so excited, everything is coming together.
[Craving]
Cookies at this very moment, and an apple. Typical.
[Projects]
Storage solutions
Organization Ideas for closet
Art/pictures on wall
Heartbeat print
"bearskin" rug???

I found out that little man likes classic rock this week. Normally playing country would get him moving pretty quickly, but it felt like he was in the middle of a complete rock out session when I was listening to the classic rock station in the car. Fine by me. I would love to have a child that enjoys The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Beach Boys, The Beatles, Boston, etc.

1 | My morning skincare
Recently I have been doing a really quick morning skincare routine to start the day off fresh. It has been great, my skin feels clean and refreshed.

2 | Vaseline Holy Duo
These have been a God-send lately. I use the Cocoa Radiant right after my shower and the Aloe Soothe as needed throughout the day or after coming in from beingout in the sun. It is instant releif for my always itchy skin lately.

3 | These Insta Accounts
I have really been on an Instagram kick lately and these accounts/shops have had the most love screenshot wise on my phone.
4 | Nursery Progress
Nate and I have really made some progress in Leighton's room this week. We finished our painted section of wall on Sunday, he built shelves and hung them yesterday and I finished the desk/changing table paint job yesterday. Nate is planning on building a changing table top to add to the desk (it will bump it up 3 inches or so and keep the pad in place). Now we just need a chair...this is the one I keep going back to:
